Spinal discs keep the bones in place. As they degenerate with age, it brings the bones closer together.
Then, the spinal discs may protrude backward which starts pinching the nerves. The nerve pain radiates outward to the legs, and the rest of the body.
Also, the joint spaces may rub together which causes calcification to occur.
Spinal Stenosis is when both of these issues happen
And it closes the area where the nerve comes out.
Spinal Stenosis Treatment
It is difficult to completely fix spinal stenosis because that would involve structural work, or surgery. However, there are ways to manage the pain non-surgically that are available right in our office.
