Bunion – This takes this form of a bump that grows on the outside of the big toe. It causes pain in the big toe and shows up as soreness and swelling.
Arthritis – The deteriorating of bones and joints in the foot would lead to chronic pain. It may cause chronic pain, burning, aching or sharpness of feeling in the feet.
Achilles Tendinitis – This condition occurs when the tendon connecting the heel to the back of the ankle (calf muscles) is overused. It develops pain in this area, swelling and possibly stiffness.
